Thursday the 3rd: Anchorage, Alaska
Fishing right downtown during the salmon run. Pretty surreal...not sure how we feel about it. Tons of anglers trying their luck right off of 1st Avenue, in Ship Creek. Most folks were walking away with three or four large salmon (and also cleaning them on the spot, as you'll see).

We also spent a fair amount of time at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. Sorry, no captivating photos came of that visit although they had a great exhibit on raptors. We also discovered that the future museum expansion includes exhibits by none other than Ralph Appelbaum.
