Happy Birthday Jessica! We had such a great time seeing them and staying at their place. It was a perfect spot for the halfway point in our trip...just what we needed to mentally unwind and prepare for the next couple of months.

Can't believe it's September already! Hope we can keep the momentum going till at least October...

Visited the Oregon Sand Dunes today. Quite a place! Looked and felt like the desert without being as brutally hot. Saw and heard a lot of dune buggies and ATVs but decided not to go that route. Took it on foot instead for a much quieter experience.

There was still sand in Kevin's hair three days later after taking on the steep dunes. It was well worth it though!
